Sandwich Artist

Overview:

Greets and serves guests in a warm and friendly manner, prepare and handle food products in a safe and responsible manner, suggestively sell food and beverage products, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, complete light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.

Key Responsibility:

  • Serves and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the guests and team members
  • Checks temperature and freshness of food products in the sandwich unit area. Restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift
  • Performs cleaning duties and housekeeping duties as directed
  • Works as a team player by assisting other employees to complete tasks when necessary or when the shift becomes unexpectedly busy
  • Performs light paperwork duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Restaurant Manager

Overview: 

The Restaurant Manager performs and directs overall store management.  Responsible for inventory, money control systems, food safety, product preparation, cleanliness, safety and security of the restaurant. In charge of recruiting, training and supervises the staff training program.  May contact prospective customers to promote sales. Responsible for local marketing initiatives and may contact prospective customer to promote sales.  Exceptional customer service and leadership quality is a major component of this position. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and post staff work schedules
  • Maintains business records as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual
  • Analyzes business records to increase sales
  • Communicates changes of food preparations formulas, standards, etc. to staff
  • Supports local and national marketing initiatives
  • Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed
  • Recruits, rewards and manage staff as needed
  • Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales. Plans special events and promotions.
  • Completes online coursework on the University of SUBWAY as directed.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in quick service restaurant operations as a manager level
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office 
  • Able to work on shift rotation, weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to stand for long hours at a time and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Good communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of people

Assistant Restaurant Manager

Overview:

The Assistant Manager supervises daily operations to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Train, allocate role and supervises staff. Maintains standards on restaurant safety and security. Exceptional customer service and leadership quality is a major component of this position. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises food preparation to ensure that food safety and operations standards are maintained
  • Coordinates and supervises staff so that standards of cleanliness are maintained as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual 
  • Inventory management and ordering
  • Ensures cash drop is performed by Cashiers as and when prompted by the POS system
  • Deposits exact amount of cash sales as recorded in the POS Sales Report daily and completes Bank in Report in a timely manner
  • Completes paperwork duties as needed and assist with planning of special events and promotions
  • Conducts pre-screen interviews for team member candidates
