Overview:
The Assistant Manager supervises daily operations to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Train, allocate role and supervises staff. Maintains standards on restaurant safety and security. Exceptional customer service and leadership quality is a major component of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises food preparation to ensure that food safety and operations standards are maintained
- Coordinates and supervises staff so that standards of cleanliness are maintained as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual
- Inventory management and ordering
- Ensures cash drop is performed by Cashiers as and when prompted by the POS system
- Deposits exact amount of cash sales as recorded in the POS Sales Report daily and completes Bank in Report in a timely manner
- Completes paperwork duties as needed and assist with planning of special events and promotions
- Conducts pre-screen interviews for team member candidates
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Supervisory experience in quick service restaurant operations is an added advantage
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Able to work on shift rotation, weekends and public holidays
- Ability to stand for long hours at a time and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Good communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of people
